Navigating Safety on Italian Streets: A Concise Overview

At Viola, our primary goal is to address issues of gender violence through efficient responses and effective solutions, while simultaneously creating safe spaces for individuals across Europe. We have assembled a highly skilled and educated team to tackle these crucial issues. Allow us to introduce Eleonora, a valuable member of our team, who is dedicated to creating a safer society for everyone.

Eleonora Sironi, our esteemed Country Manager, is a driven graduate student with a Bachelor’s degree in International Studies and European Union Institutions. Currently pursuing her Masters in International Affairs at the prestigious Hertie School in Berlin, Eleonora specializes in international security and plays a pivotal role in volunteer management across Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Luxembourg.

“Viola for me is a tool of empowerment based on empathy and community learning”.

Eleonora first learned about Viola in May 2022 through Laura, one of the founders, as they were acquainted through another feminist organization. Intrigued by Viola’s vision, Eleonora recognized it as an exceptional empowerment tool, enabling everyone to feel safer on the streets through community-driven insights. She expresses gratitude for discovering Viola and having the opportunity to make a tangible difference.

“I joined because it is a wonderful project that so many people need.”

Adventurous and dedicated, Eleonora possesses exceptional skills in writing, non-profits, international politics, and gender politics. She is deeply committed to human rights and humanitarian causes. Prior to joining Viola, Eleonora dedicated her time to fundraising for children’s tumor research and offering assistance at the Science for Peace Conference.

What Eleonora cherishes most about working for Viola is the profound sense of social impact it provides. She finds fulfillment in utilizing social media platforms to foster connections and make a difference in the lives of those in need.
